Payroll Specialist/Accounting Clerk

Payroll Specialist/Accounting Clerk:

Growing drilling company is looking for a Payroll/Accounting Clerk who has experience with Davis Bacon wages and certified payroll reports. This position requires a person who is very detail oriented.

Duties:
Manage the company's weekly certified payroll/per diem and biweekly regular payroll
Prepare and verify weekly certified payroll rates and maintain labor compliance records for company and subs
Figure monthly apprenticeship training fund
Process garnishments and child support orders
Enter weekly payroll into accounting system
Support AP department when needed
Knowledge:
2-3 years' experience with payroll and using Paychex online
Experience dealing with Davis Bacon wages and certified payroll reports a plus
Multi-state payroll experience

Must have knowledge of Excel/Word/Outlook
Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus
